Movie night!

Emery had her end-of-the-year program for Pre-School. Next stop: Kindergarten!!

I do hate posting this, but it may be the only baby bump picture I share this pregnancy. I am growing astronomically--every inch of my body! This bump is only 15 weeks!!

These three cuties and I packed a picnic lunch and picked Dad up for lunch at the park.

My friend put together a Mommy-Daughter date one evening. We went to Rio 2 and then out for frozen yogurt. So fun to have some time with the two older girls.

We had a blast on Saturday! We took our friends the Evans and the Ormonds up to the ranch. First we hiked Cress Creek with the Evans, then we all met up with the Ormonds at the ranch. We fished, hiked, had a hot dog roast, shot skeets, hiked and explored some more, and fished some more. It was a gorgeous, relaxing day and it was so fun to just get out and enjoy being together and being in one of our favorite spots.

Jess was doing some work for Grandma Carma, so we got to hang out with him too!

On the way home we stopped in Ririe for the famous Stoplight Pizza. This pizza was HUGE!!!

We finished out our Memorial Day Weekend with a fun neighborhood BBQ! Lots of good food and visiting, while the kids played in the water! We have the best neighbors!!

Mother's Day 2014

I had a nice and relaxed Mother's Day. James took care of all the cooking and cleaning and let me take a nap after church. Later in the day we went on a walk on a new trail, and just enjoyed being together.

Motherhood is such a wonderful, tiring, humbling, frustrating, and rewarding journey. Some days I want to give up and wonder why in the world we had any children...and other days I just feel overwhelmed with love and gratitude for my beautiful girls. They see me as "The Best Mom Ever"...I have no idea how they are able to look past all my weaknesses, but they do and they love me despite it all. Motherhood is a lifelong learning and growing experience. I'm so grateful for the lessons my children teach me...patience, forgiveness, enjoying the small things, unconditional love, faith, optimism, etc... They can sure drive me nuts, but I love those little faces and bright blue eyes so very much!! I hope someday I can live up to the title "Best Mom Ever", but for now I'll take it one day at a time and try to enjoy the moments a little more. :)

James bought me a pot of Gerber Daisies. He picked this pot because one of the flowers had a heart center! So cool!
